Anne Foster, beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away on September 19, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. A long-term resident of Maryland Heights, Anne was born on May 17, 1958 in Jefferson City, MO. Upon graduation from Southeast Missouri State University, Anne was employed by IBM and retired after a successful career as a project manager.

Anne was preceded in death by her mother, Wilma Foster. She is survived by her father and stepmother, Robert and Irma Lee Foster, brothers Allan (Karen) Foster and Joseph (Debbie) Foster, nephew Robert Foster, nieces Laura (Trey) Curtis, Kimberly (Robert) Jessee, Andrea Foster, Ellen (Brad) Robinson, Elizabeth Foster, and grandnieces and grandnephew Ava, Elizabeth, Alice and Lincoln.

Anne was active at the First Free Church of Ballwin, MO. She served in the children's department for more than 30 years and led a Bible study group as well as being involved in other church programs.

Although a tireless dedicated worker for IBM, Anne saw serving others as her true calling in life. One example is she lived in Houston for a period of months to assist a lifelong friend who was struggling with cancer. She acted as a second mother to her nephew and nieces. She also traveled to Texas frequently to be with her grandnieces and grandnephew. They remember her gifts and acts of love with reciprocal love and affection, and their parents are grateful for the many times she stepped in during moments of need.

Anne will be deeply missed and mourned by all whose lives she has touched. Memorial visitation Thursday, September 23, 10:00 AM until time of service, 11:00 AM at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd (St. Ann).
