Kohenskey, Anne Brennan (nee Hagerty) Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on Thursday, August 12, 2021.

Anne was a dear and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. On May 29, 1982 she married the love of her life, Steven C. Kohenskey, who preceded her in death in 2014.  She is survived by daughter Stephanie Brenner, son-in-law Eric Brenner, sons Steven "Louie" Kohenskey and Bradley Kohenskey, and her beloved grandchildren Kyle, the late Henry, and Benjamin.  Anne is the beloved sister of Kevin (Kelly) Hagerty, Pat (Chris) Hagerty, Dan (Gina) Hagerty, Terry (Cheryl) Hagerty, Tim (Dayna) Hagerty, Mary (Randy) Hedger, John (Angie) Hagerty, Tommy Hagerty, Peggy (Cliff) Robinson, Carol (Danny) Kohenskey, Chrissy (Paul) Richards and Kathy Fowler.

Anne, known as Candy to many, grew up in the Kirkwood area before moving to Bismarck, MO. Years later she eventually returned to the Maryland Heights area.  She loved spending time with family and friends, cooking, sharing stories, and caring for all of her loved ones.  She was a kind-hearted and strong woman who truly made the world around her a better place.  Someday we will all be celebrating and praising God together, but she will be dearly missed until that day.

Funeral service Wednesday, August 18, 10:00 AM at COLLIER'S Funeral Home, 3400 North Lindbergh Blvd. (St. Ann). Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
