Anthony Steven "Tony" Lucido of Bridgeton, Missouri passed away on June 25, 2023 at Missouri Baptist Hospital surrounded by loved ones after courageously facing complications caused by Marfan Syndrome.
Anthony was an old and gentle soul, with a dry sense of humor and kind demeanor that was loved by many. He was a great friend, brother, and husband, and was a magical human to all who knew him. He enjoyed fine dining, classy drinks, traveling, good concerts, spending time with friends and family, and brewing beer. On June 20, 2014, Anthony married the love of his life, Sarah Connaway Lucido, and was a wonderful son to his parents.
Anthony was a proud alumnus of Pattonville High School in 2003 and St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 2009, where he was a brother of Lambda Chi Alpha (LXA) and earned his Doctorate of Pharmacy. In 2004, he began his career in pharmacy at SSM DePaul Hospital, and went on to become the clinical coordinator and residency program director. In 2023, Anthony transitioned to the role of clinical coordinator at SSM SLU Hospital, where he worked until his passing. During his career, Anthony trained and mentored numerous colleagues, residents, and student pharmacists.
Anthony is survived by his wife, Sarah Connaway Lucido; his mother, Stephanie Lucido; his father, Gracian Lucido; his sister, Christina Williams; his sister, Mary Hay (Catie); his brother, Steve Lucido; his brother-in-law, Mark Williams; his brother-in-law, Joss Hay; his sister-in-law, Binita Shah; his brother-in-law, Daniel Regenhardt; his sister-in-law, Brittney Regenhardt; his nephew, Dimitrian Tobias (Toby) Lucido; his niece, Olivia Regenhardt; his niece, Cameron Regenhardt; his niece, Addie Regenhardt; his niece, Charlotte Regenhardt; his niece, Graziella Williams; his niece, Rowley Hay; his niece, Milli Shah Lucido; and his nephew, Ossian Hay.
Anthony was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anthony and Mary Lucido; Steve and Catherine Komeshak; and his Aunt Catherine Kister.
Family and friends of Anthony are invited to join in honoring his life with a visitation on Friday, June 30th from 3-7pm at Colliers Funeral Home (3400 North Lindbergh Blvd, St. Ann, MO 63074; 314-298-1212). At 7pm, Words of Remembrance will be shared. On Monday, July 3rd, a Mass will be held at 10am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (3130 Parkwood Ln, Maryland Heights, MO 63043), followed by a luncheon.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking those wanting to make a gesture to kindly donate to The Marfan Foundation www.marfan.org or American Red Cross www.redcross.org To make a direct community impact in honor of Anthony, please consider becoming a blood donor with the American Red Cross.
