Benson, Betty Jane (nee Fryman) of St. Charles, Mo. passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Benson; dear daughter of the late Emery and Gladys Fryman; Devoted and dedicated mother of Sue (Bob) Whitaker, Beth (Bill) Sago, Amy (Joe) Wray and Sally (Steve) Frey; cherished Nana of Shelley (Kevin), Jon (Kelly), Ben (Christine), Tom (Anna), Mick, Emma and Sam and great-grandchildren Peyton, Kali, Paisley, Krew, Calvin, Clark, Chloe (and one on the way); dear sister of the late Carl, Garnet, Mary (Mimi) and Junior;

Betty was a vibrant woman with a zest for life. She loved bowling, golfing, playing bridge, bingo and traveling. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family. Betty adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, attending nearly every sporting event and school function. Betty lived a full life and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind many loved nieces and nephews that affectionately referred to her as "Aunt Bets".
