Bruce Edward Pickett
October 14, 1962 – February 11, 2024
Bruce E. Pickett, 61 of Ferguson, MO went to be with our Lord on Sunday February 11, 2024. Bruce was the 3rd youngest of a wonderfully huge family. He is proceeded in death by his parents Ray and Marvine Pickett, his brothers Terry, Tom, Allen, Ray Jr., Ronnie, Dewey, and a set of infant twins.
Bruce is lovingly remembered by his children daughter Amber (Drew) Blevins and 3 grandkids Payton 18, Cooper 16, and Anndee 14, daughter Heather (Jeff) Bone and 3 grandkids Madelyn 17 (with a great grandchild Weston 1 yr old) Trevor 14, and Lauren 13, son Bradley Edward Pickett. He also left behind his beloved best friend Kathy Pickett. His siblings will also miss him dearly. He is survived by his brother Marvin (Rene) Pickett, sisters Connie (Mike) Tetrault, Charlotte (Rich) Wessels and Geronda Pickett. He held a very special place in his heart for all his nieces and nephews and his extended family. He was always there to help any of them in need.
He was a simple kind of guy. Taking him camping and letting him float, would make him the happiest person on earth. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals and WWE thru and thru. There wasn't a WWE event he missed on tv. He passed that love down to his kids and grandkids.
In his many years of life, he held a few handyman-like jobs. But it wasn't until he found DePaul Hospital in St. Louis MO, that he found his forever work home. He served 30 years as a painter, maintenance, a plethora of other jobs there. He loved his coworkers, the doctors and the patients all the same. He will be forever missed.
