Carl Edward
Arndt
Nov 12, 1940 — May 9, 2026
Carl was born on November 12, 1940, in Kansas City, Missouri and went home to heaven on May 9, 2026, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Carole (Stewart) of 65 years of blessed marriage. Loving father of Karla, Randy and Kevin (Lisa). Grandfather of Justin, Matthew and Bethany (Brett). Great grandfather of Malachi, Hallie, Roman and Zola. He is survived by his brother Curtis Arndt (Cynthia) and his sister Joyce Williams.
Carl was a graduate of Nixa High School, class of 1956. He also graduated from Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State) in Springfield Missouri in August 1966. He retired from Fletcher Reinhardt in 2006 after 32 years at the company.
Carl was a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ. Over the course of his life, he worked in the children's ministry, taught Sunday School and Bible study, served in youth ministry and served as a Deacon and Elder. He is a long-time member of Have Bible Will Travel church in Creve Coeur Missouri.
Carl was an avid sports fan. He loved the St Louis Cardinals baseball team, St Louis Blues Hockey team, Missouri Tigers and Missouri State collegiate teams. Carl was deeply loved by his family and will be sorely missed but we are comforted to know we will see him again in heaven someday.
1 Peter 1:3-5 (NIV) "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade."
The visitation will take place at Have Bible Will Travel on Tuesday May 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. The celebration service will commence immediately after the visitation. Interment will be private at Oak Grove Cemetery in St Charles, Missouri.
