It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Carol R. Rucknagel.

Carol Ruth Rucknagel, 86, St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. She was born on June 13, 1938, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Frank B. Stuller and Laura A. Stuller (Wiese). In April of 1967 she married the love of her life, Warner Rucknagel.

Carol dedicated her life to the loving embrace of her family, cherishing her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the heart of her family, known for her warm home filled with love and laughter. Carol was an avid card player and animal lover, one of her greatest enjoyments was feeding her precious deer outside her home.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Warner Rucknagel. Survivors include her children Jill (Lindsey) Bailey, Jodie (Jeff) Grawe, and Mitchell Rucknagel; grandchildren Christina Thomas, Melissa Bailey, Taylor Bailey, Zachary Bailey and 5 great-grandchildren.

Carol's memory will be treasured and celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to be graced by her love and devotion. Her absence leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her. Her wishes were to have a private celebration of life with her family.

In lieu of flowers she requested thoughts and prayers for her family.
