Christine E. Gaston, age 75, of Bridgeton, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. A devoted wife to Jim Gaston, mother to three daughters Diane Hollis (Paul), Sarah Nix (Jeff), Kate Walls (Chris). A caring Nana to Maddy Hollis, Hannah Walls, Ben Walls, RJ Nix, and Elijah Walls. A cherished friend to many, Chris touched countless lives with her unwavering faith, kindness, and joyful spirit.

Chris dedicated her life to nurturing young minds as a talented elementary school teacher, bringing creativity and patience to her classroom. Her love for learning extended beyond the classroom into her many hobbies, including the love the travel. A gifted knitter, Chris crafted beautiful, handmade gifts for family and friends, each piece woven with love and care. Her joy of making cards and lunching with her many friends brought her much happiness, and she held a profound appreciation and derived pleasure from her numerous vacations to the sea.

Chris' life was a testament to resilience and courage. She faced her battle with cancer with steadfast faith and remarkable strength, overcoming many challenges with grace that inspired everyone around her. Her friends, who were abundant and dear, knew her as a constant presence—a compassionate, faithful soul who always offered her support and companionship.

She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Visitation will be at Colliers Funeral Home on Friday 11/1/2024 from 4-8pm and a service will be held on Saturday 11/2/2024 at 10:00am at Arlington Methodist Church in Bridgeton, MO.
