Obituary

Clarence peacefully passed away on Monday, August 22nd.  He was a loving son, uncle, and friend.  He was preceded in death by his parents Erma and Clarece McCullough and  his sister, Loretta Powers.  He's survived by his niece, Joyce Powers, and nephew, Joseph Powers and Joe's wife, Donna Powers.
He was born in Natrona Heights, PA.  He had a number of professions throughout his life.  He was a barber, veteran, bartender, manager, and maintenance man.  He moved to North Carolina in the 80's and 90's.  He then decided to relocate to St. Louis to be closer to his family.
Our uncle was a pet lover.  He always had a dog living with him.  He and his American Husky, Foxy, were inseparable.  They went everywhere together. One of his biggest worries was that she would have a loving home after his passing, and she has found a home with his niece.
His Catholic faith was very important to him. He had been a member of many parishes throughout his life. He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was a supporter of several wildlife and animal protective organizations.  He was especially interested in protecting the wolf population throughout the Midwest. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to:
Defenders of Wildlife, 1-800-385-9712 or support.defenders.org.
Unk, we hope you find peace.  We will miss you.
