Diana Carolina Calderón was born a fighter at 7 months on December 26, 1984 and in true Diani spirit, passed away after a tough fight surrounded by family, both blood and chosen, on October 29, 2023. Being the first born daughter to Maria and Ricardo Calderón, Diani took great part in helping raise her sisters Miriam and Yvonne. At the young age of 15 she met the person whom she would eventually recognize as her soul mate, her husband Manuel González.

Diani loved to read and expand her knowledge. She graduated from NEIU in Chicago with honors majoring in both Sociology and Spanish. Diani was always an advocate for underprivileged families. Recently she was absolutely delighted at the possibility of finally going back to school, a long time dream of hers.

In addition to the aforementioned, Diani is survived by countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and God children whom she loved dearly. She will be greatly missed by those that had the joy of knowing her.

Visitation Saturday, November 4, 3:00 PM until time of service 7:00 PM at COLLIER'S Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd. (St. Ann).
