Dolores Fern Priesmeyer, 89, passed away December 6, 2023, at Witham Memorial Hospital. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on August 20, 1934, a daughter of the late Sam Vitale and Rose (Marsala) Vitale.

On March 2, 1957, she was united in marriage to William Frederick Priesmeyer in St. Louis, Missouri, he survives. They spent 66 loving years together.

She was a graduate of St. Alphonsus Roch High School in St. Louis.

Dolores was a dedicated homemaker and wife. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, traveling, and being outdoors tending to her garden. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Dolores was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved her family dearly.

Dolores is survived by her son, Bill (Debbie) Priesmeyer; daughters, Judy (Jim) Moloy and Geralyn (Mike) Humphrey; grandchildren, Mandy Elliot, Amy Lake, Dusty Moloy, Angie Scaringe, Maggie Green, Abby Lokits, Ryan Priesmeyer, and Emily Humphrey; great grandchildren, Jack Elliot, Char Elliot, Cece Lake, Louie Lake, Frances Lake, Vivian Moloy, Finley Moloy, Liam West, John Henry Lokits, Meredith Lokits, Pierce Green, and Henry Green; and her sisters, Nutzie Catalana and Vickie Roesseler.

In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her grandson, Tyler Humphrey; sisters, Marie Marchesi, Rose DeGrasso and Gloria Patrick; and her brothers, Sam Vitale and Tom Vitale.

John 15:16, You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

Funeral Mass is being planned for 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 11, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 319 East South Street, Lebanon, IN 46052.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
Dolores will be laid to rest at Salem Cemetery, 7295 Hunt Club Rd Zionsville IN 46077.
