Edward Tipton Conroy, age 65, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO. Edward was born November 29, 1956 in St. Louis, MO to Alice (Saale) Conroy and the late William Conroy.

He joined the United States Air Force in 1975 and served his country proudly for a total of 37 years, combined active and reserve duty. He retired from his military service with the rank of Major from the Air Force Reserves.

His love for travel allowed him to experience many other adventures in life. Edward was a certified scuba diver. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, salmon fishing in Canada and mountain climbing – he even trekked to the summit of Mt. Rainier. Other interests of Edward's were gardening, bike riding with his brother and late brother-in-law and turkey & deer hunting with his family and friends on the family farm. Edward also enjoyed his morning coffee with a "touch" of Bailey's, he loved the movie "The Grinch" and his sister's fudge.

In the summer of 2021, Edward relocated to Springfield, MO to be closer to his extended family after spending many years living in the Seattle, WA area.

Edward was preceded in death by his father, William H. Conroy; brother-in-law, Dale Roland; and his nephew, Steven Roland.
