Elaine Muriel Niere (nee Wittmaier) passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, July 16, 2023.

Beloved wife of the late Everett Niere; dearest mother of Corinne Ayres and the late Judy West; loving grandmother of John West, Julie West, Kathy Hedrick, Jennifer Jacobsmeyer, and Joel Ayres; great grandmother of 7; great-great grandmother of 4; mother-in-law of Bennie (Carol) West and the late John Ayres; our dear sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Elaine spent 30 years volunteering at Mark Twain Manor Nursing Home. She also was a very active member of Hope Lutheran Church. In her spare time, Elaine enjoyed tending to her garden. She also enjoyed her trips to Dairy Queen and spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation Friday, July 21, 10:00 AM until time of the funeral service, 11:00 AM, at Hope Lutheran Church, 10701 St Cosmas Ln (St. Ann).
