Eldon Paul Bliss Sr passed away surrounded by family on October 17, 2023.  Eldon was a proud US Army Veteran, and was also a retired Teamsters Local 600 member.  Family meant everything to him, and he loved his children and grandchildren very much.  He was also an avid animal lover and gave a home to many dogs and cats over the years.  He loved fishing, playing darts, and going to "the boat" to play the slots.

Son of the late Fanny (Roscoe) Rowland, Eldon was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon, and his infant daughter, Kimberly Sue.  Beloved father of his son, Eldon (Rosanne) Bliss Jr and daughter, Yvonne (John) Knight; grandfather of Michael P Burkett, Justin Raede, and Kassie (Zach) Knight-Holmberg, and great-grandfather of Michael J Burkett.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.

Services:  Visitation Thursday October 19, 2023, 11:30 AM - 12:30pm at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N Lindbergh Blvd, St Ann MO, followed by a graveside service at Jefferson Barracks at 1:30pm.  A gathering of family and friends will be at the Elks Lodge # 1721, 4 Elks Club, Festus MO, immediately after.
