Eleanor Marie Stanley (nee smith) of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the age of 87.

Loving wife of 52 years to the late Ralph V. Stanley; beloved daughter of the late Alfred and Myrtle Smith; devoted mother of Kimberly (David) Poeppelmeier.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her brother Bernard (Wanda) (Margaret) Smith and her sister Doris Lee Messersmith.

Eleanor married Ralph V. Stanley on December 23, 1955. Eleanor and Ralph were members of United Fellowship Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Fellowship Baptist Church, 3243 Fee Fee Rd, Bridgeton, MO 63044.

A private service will be held before interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
