Elizabeth Ann (Schlueter) Stonebarger, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Her life was defined by quiet strength, steady devotion, and a gentle way of caring for others that left a lasting imprint on everyone who knew her.

Born on February 2, 1938, to William M. Schlueter and Lena P. (Bingman) Schlueter, Elizabeth grew up in Missouri with the values that shaped her entire life — loyalty, humility, and a deep commitment to family. She carried those roots with her into adulthood, building a life marked by hard work, faith, and love.

Elizabeth married Joseph V. Stonebarger, the love of her life, and together they shared 46 years of marriage before Joseph’s passing. Their life together was a testament to dedication, companionship, and the quiet, enduring strength of a long and loving union.

She raised her children with a blend of practicality and tenderness, offering guidance when needed and comfort when it mattered most. Elizabeth found joy in simple things — familiar routines, shared meals, quiet evenings, and time spent with the people she loved. Her kindness was steady, her humor gentle, and her presence grounding.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her parents William and Lena, all six of her siblings, and her granddaughter Sara, who passed before her.

She is survived by her four children and their spouses: Darrell and Tammy (Benoist), Mitchell and Pam (Smith), Douglas and Sue (Corey), and Malinda and Brian Hennessy.

She is also survived by her grandchildren — Paul, Justin, Zac, Mitchell, Nick, Jake, Beth, Alyssa, and AJ — each of whom carries a piece of her love, her steadiness, and her gentle spirit into the future.

Elizabeth’s legacy continues through her 17 great‑grandchildren and 3 great‑great‑grandchildren, who will grow up hearing stories of her warmth, her humor, and the quiet strength that defined her life.

Visitation will be held at Collier’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 29, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will take place at Collier’s on Wednesday, September 30, at 10:00 AM, with burial to follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.

Her life was quiet, steady, and deeply meaningful — a life lived with love at its center. She will be missed more than words can hold.
