Our family regretfully announces the unexpected passing of Eric Jr Jimenez-Sánchez who left this earth on Sunday, January 18th.

Born on August 22, 2024, Jr could brighten anybody's day with his beautiful big smile and bubbly laughter. Jr was a wild child who loved to run around in just his diaper. He loved to play with his big sister Stella and his cousins Ben Lawler, Emma, Zoey, Aaron, Sonny and Zaida Jimenez.

Those who will cherish memories of him forever are his parents Eric Sánchez and Rebekah Jimenez, sister Stella Sánchez, grandparents Aaron & Kim Jimenez of St Ann and Luis & Leticia Contreras of Maryland Heights, great grandmothers Laurel Jimenez & Janice Novak and Darlene Jackson, Uncle & Aunts Chris & Aiden Jimenez, Erika Sánchez, Itzel Sánchez and Samantha Sánchez, great uncles and aunts Osvaldo & Judith Perez Sánchez, Lynn Schweiger & Des Matyas, John & Melanie Jimenez, Vince Jimenez, cousins Robert & Jessica Lewis, Xavier, Johnny and Lexz Jimenez, Corey & Madison, Layla and Jayden Jimenez, Jake Jimenez & Alyssa Anderson, Ulisses Sánchez , Emilio & Paulette Sofía Sánchez. Jr was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather Robert Schweiger.

A church service will be held at All Souls Catholic Church, 9550 Tennyson Ave, Overland, MO on Friday, January 23rd, 2026 at 10am. A celebration of life will be held later the same day from 4:30-7:30pm at the Jack Rehagen Municipal Pool Building, Tiemeyer Park, 3311 Ashby Road, St Ann, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family.
