Florence "Flo" Virginia Jones Rowland (Pagones) passed away on Sunday, December 3, at the age of 92 surrounded by her children and grand children. Flo was born to the late James and Edna Pagones on December 19, 1930, in St. Louis, Missouri. Flo was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert "Gene" Eugene Jones, after 42 years of marriage and her son, Robert "Robbie" Eugene Jones Jr (survived by Jan Williams) and Arthur Rowland.

She was the loving mother of Brenda (Scott) Cody and Steve (DiAnn) Jones; grandmother of Rhonda Williams, Seth Cody, Justin (Lesley) Jones, Amber (Matt) Hale, and Anna Cody; great grandmother of Everest and Kennedy Jones and Elijah Hale; sister of the late Helen (Al) Noakes, Ann (Vic) Cunnyngham, Paul James, Kay (Brad) Shepard, and Jim (Shirley) Pagones; sister-in-law of Jerry (Lynn) Jones.

Flo graduated from Soldan Belwett High School in 1949 and was a devoted, faithful member of the Maryland Heights Church of Christ since 1954. Family and friends meant everything to Flo. She was active in her church, teaching ladies and children's bible classes, VBS, working on the Joy Bus, and helping wherever she was needed. Her hobbies included gardening, bird watching, traveling, crossword puzzles, and colored pencil drawings.

Flo's health issues made it hard in the past several years, but she continued to fight to be able to spend time with her children, friends, and church family. She was always full of love, laughter, and precious moments that made her life an inspiration to many. The family would like to thank her caregivers, Donna Neal and Enza Zito, for the loving care they provided during the good times and the darkest hours at the end of her life.

Memorial Visitation Saturday, December 9, 10:00 until time of Memorial Service 11:00 AM at Maryland Heights Church of Christ, 107 Midland Ave, Maryland Heights, MO. A Private family Burial will take place at Lake Charles Park Cemetery.
