Gina M.
Giardina
Aug 27, 1963 — Jan 24, 2022
Gina M. Giardina, age 58, born August 27th, 1963, passed away suddenly on Monday January 24th 2022. Beloved mother to her only child, Christopher M Hoegemeier. Loving Nonni to Brendan and Colton Hoegemeier. Loving sister to Michelle Giardina-Maloney, Joe (Lynette) Giardina, Victoria McNamee, Cyndy (Jim) Kleeschulte, Angie (Jimmy) Kazmierczak, Keri Cronin and Melanie Giardina. Loving companion to Bobby Burnette Jr. Cherished Aunt, Great Aunt, cousin of many and treasured friend to many more.
Gina is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Shirley Giardina, her sisters, Patricia (Patti Ann) Harvill, Stephanie (Stevie) Giardina, nephew Tommy Harvill, and niece Danielle Duncan.
Gina was a member of Local 655 as a bakery manager at Shop-n-Save until retiring in 2015. She was a strong-minded woman who loved to have a good time. She loved country music and attending country music concerts, something she passed down to her son and more than a couple nieces and nephews.
Gina loved her Italian heritage. Despite being 5 foot 1 inches she stood out among her ten siblings. She had a love for children- at any type of gathering you would find Gina playing with the kids, never missing an opportunity to teach a new child "criss- cross- applesauce". Gina had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She could tell a story and she made you feel like you were there. She had many friends from her childhood with whom she still kept contact.
By far, Gina's greatest love was her son and grandsons. She adored them and they adored her. Gina loved being a #boymom and never once missed an opportunity to brag about their latest accomplishments. They were without a doubt, her pride and joy. Her boys were her entire world. She will be greatly missed. To know Gina was to love her. I love you more!
