Harold Arthur Hahn, cherished father and grandfather, passed peacefully surrounded by family on May 7, 2025.

Harold was born on June 8, 1929 in Flat River, Missouri.  He was preceded in death by his parents Henry Hahn and Lillie May Henson Hahn.  He was the second youngest of nine children: Sisters Hazel (Hahn) Evans, Harriet Jane Hahn, and Edna May (Hahn) Mallow; brothers Archie Hahn, Loy Hahn, Benjamin Hahn, Robert Hahn, and Carroll Hahn.

Harold was happily married for 54 years to Betty (Moore) Hahn before her death in 2003.  Together they raised two children, Mark (Vann) and Susan (Hahn) Pirrone (Vince) in St. Ann, where he lived for over sixty years.

He was a beloved grandfather to six grandkids.  Emily and Matt (Katie) Hahn, Nick (Kaylen) Pirrone, Amanda Pirrone, Sean Pirrone and Rachel (Connor) Pirrone.  He was looking forward to the birth of his first great-grandchild in August.

After serving in the Army, Harold went to work for Western Electric, eventually AT&T.  He retired in 1987 after 38 years of loyal employment.  He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports and dance in recitals. He was a treasured member of Arlington United Methodist Church and was active in their Happy Healthy Hearts walking group. "Food was his favorite dish," and he especially enjoyed Taco Tuesday with his friends.  He was known for his inviting smile, twinkling brown eyes, and love of a good joke.  His joy for life will live on through those who love him.

Visitation Tuesday, May 13th 11:00 AM until time of service, 1:00 PM at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd (St. Ann). Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
