Beloved Husband of the late Dorothea Mae Rau (nee Sorenson); dearest Father of Ronald John (Cindy nee Kurzendoerfer) Rau, Laura Ann Rau, Lisa Ann (Matthew) Rueschhoff, and Christopher Anthony Rau; dear grandfather of Justin Darnell Rau, Jeremy Anthony Rau, Johnathan Christopher Rau, Austin Daniel Rueschhoff, Tyler James Rueschhoff, Edward Anton Rau, Elanor Elaine Rau, and the late Ryan Michael Rau; great grandfather of Ethan Anthony Rau; beloved brother of Mary Carroll: our dear cousin and friend.

Howard Rau gave service to the United States Marine Corps from the Korean War.

Visitation Friday, April 22, 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd (St. Ann). Funeral Mass Saturday, April 23, 10:00 AM at St. Jude Church, 2218 N Warson Rd (Overland). Interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
