Irene Mae Mroczkowski (nee Schenk) died peacefully in her sleep on January 14, 2022 and is now with God.

Irene was born on August 5, 1933 to Christopher and Elizabeth (Sis) Schenk in St. Louis. Beloved wife of Bruno E. Mroczkowski for over 67 years. Beloved mother of Sandy Nieweg, Paul Mroczkowski (Jon Hunt), Jeanne (Steve) Norris, Sue Minie, Beth Riedler and Tom Mroczkowski. Beloved grandmother of Jeremey Maue, Jaimey Minie, Steve (Tanya) Norris and Erik Norris. Great grandmother of Zach, Conner and Sean. She was a wonderful sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt and friend to many. Irene was a devout Catholic who was devoted to her family and loved the St. Louis Cardinals. Her fun-loving spirit will be greatly missed.

Visitation Wednesday, January 19, at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd (St. Ann) from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral mass Thursday, January 20, 9:30 AM at Holy Spirit Church, 3130 Parkwood Ln, (Maryland Heights).  Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
