James Lake Andrew Atkins

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Lake Andrew Atkins, who left us on May 19, 2024, at the age of 33. Born on February 6, 1991, brought joy, laughter, and love to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

James was a beloved son, cherished brother, cousin, and a loyal friend. He was known for his boundless generosity, infectious smile, and unwavering support for those around him. His kind spirit and warm heart touched the lives of many.

As a son, James was a source of pride and inspiration to his parents, Debra Atkins and Jim Atkins who remember him as a beacon of light in their lives. He shared a special bond with his cousins, with whom he created countless memories filled with love and laughter. To his friends, James was a steadfast companion and always ready with a listening ear and a helping hand.

He is survived by his parents Debbie & Jim Atkins, and one sister Jennifer Atkins. James was preceded in death by his grandparents Noble & Melissa Bollinger, uncle Jerry Bollinger, & aunt Melissa Rowold & cousin Cherie Parmeley.

James had a passion for family and friends. He loved motorcycles, loved life, and he loved working on cars. His talents and interests led him to become an electrician.

Though his time with us was far too short, James leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and unwavering friendship. His memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A Memorial Service to honor James's life will be held on Saturday, June 8th from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM  at Collier's Funeral Home 3400 North Lindbergh Blvd. Saint Ann, MO 63074.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the family. They have started a GoFundMe account.
