James A. Krieger Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Saturday, March 27, 2021

Born in St. Louis to his parents, the late Charles and Betty Krieger; loving father of Debbi (Scott) Davis, Karen (Casey) Vandervort, Colleen (Nick) Poth, Stephen (Annie) Krieger, Tom Krieger, and Mary (Jacob) Buescher; dearest grandfather of Aubrey, Cora, Hannah, Shannon, Molly, Olivia, Cole, Joey, Claire, Alex and Jack; former husband of Kathy Krieger (nee Mosher); brother of David (Patty) Krieger, Dan (Barb) Krieger, Rick (Jeri) Krieger, Mike (Laurie) Krieger, Kevin (Andrea) Krieger, and the late Kathy (survived by John) Backer; former son-in-law of Rosemary and the late Robert Mosher; our dear uncle, cousin and friend to so many.

Jim was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a faithful person and devout Catholic throughout his life. After attending St. Stephen Protomartyr during grade school, he went to Prep South for high school, then spent a short time in the Seminary. Jim moved on to University of Missouri-St. Louis before starting his family. He was an athlete and a character who loved acting and doing impressions. Jim read his Bible along with daily inspirations, and he was at Church every Sunday morning. He would take solace in the fact so many loved and cared about him. Jim always said when anyone was struggling to "Give it up to God!" He is now at peace with God himself.

Memorial Visitation Monday, April 5, 2021 9:30 AM until time of Mass 10:30 AM at Christ Prince of Peace Church 415 Weidman Rd. Manchester, MO 63011.
