Jason Noel Reyes, age 48, passed away peacefully at home in Lake St. Louis, Mo. on August 25, 2021. Dear husband of Janet M. Reyes (nee Spies); dear son of Antonio M. and Corazon J. Reyes; dear father of Dominic Isiah, Alyssa Noelle and Anthony Joseph Reyes; dear brother of Alex K. and Lisa A. Reyes; our dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Jay graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1995 with a degree in English and Education. He was a founding member of Sigma Nu Fraternity - Mu Kappa chapter, where he cultivated lifelong friendships and gave much of his time to community service.

Beyond family and friends, Jay gave his energy and talents to a variety of passions. He applied his healthcare industry knowledge while working as a hospital consultant for many years. He was a lifelong tennis player and coach, including playing NCAA Division I tennis at college. He spread his love of reading to many, having taught high school English from 1995 to 2001 and, more recently, authoring several science fiction and fantasy books.
