Jean C. Brightfield's Obituary
Proud veteran of World War II having served three full years during the invasion of Europe, landing on Omaha Beach on the morning of June 6, 1944, through the Battle of the Bulge into Germany and occupation duty there until departing for home December 1945.
He was a long-time employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone and when it turned into AT&T he retired and spent time with family and friends boating, traveling and spending winter months in Florida. He enjoyed his 6 children and 12 grandchildren and they enjoyed him and were happy to see him reach 99 years old.
