Jeanette, age 77, was called by Our Lord to return to Him on June 12, 2024, after being fortified by the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.  She died of complications from her devastating disease of Lewy Body dementia, from which she struggled for over two years.  She is survived by John, her devoted husband of 55 years; her sons—Scott (Robyn) and Sean (Elizabeth); and her daughter—Tracy (Matt) Stoddard.  Jeanette was the daughter of the late Charles and Irene Mispagel and sister of Susan (Francis) Jutz.

Our Lord must have had several youngsters also in His presence when He called Jeanette and needed someone—who spent her whole life rearing, teaching, loving, and caring for children—to help Him with these children's adjustment to eternal life. As a devoted spouse, mother, grandmother, aunt, and grade school teacher of over 20 years, I know she will not disappoint Him.

If this is now her role, she is in eternal peace enjoying the presence of her family who have gone before her. She will pray for us to be with her someday in paradise.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, specifically for the research and cure of Lewy Body dementia, or to the Lewy Dementia Body Association (LBDA).

A Visitation will be held Monday, June 24th 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd (St. Ann) and Tuesday, June 25th 9:30 AM until time of Mass 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7701 Highway N. Dardenne Prairie, MO 63368. Interment Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery (Dardenne).
