Jeannine Susan Hassel (Jeannie)  (August 31, 1965 - July 10, 2021)

Jeannie Hassel, 55, of O'Fallon died peacefully at home Saturday, after a valiant fight against Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy, and many other heath challenges. Before the onset of her condition, Jeannie was active in dancing, bowling, and managed a bookstore. She was an avid reader.

Born August 31, 1965, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Victoria Vitale Hassel Roesler and the late Paul Fenton Hassel; sister of the late Paul Frank Hassel and survived by sister-in-law Julie Hassel and sister Cindy Hassel Harris; aunt of Rachel Harris and Tiffany Harris; great aunt of Brayden and Davin; step-sister of Jill, Larry, Ann, Sue, Jean, Sally, Ralph, Steve, and Paul abound from the loving union between Ms. Roesler and her late husband, Ralph Roesler; and many cousins and friends.

The immediate family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, July 16, 2021 for a visitation from 12:00 PM until time of the funeral service, 2:00 PM, At Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd (St. Ann).

In lieu of flowers, the family and Jeannie will kindly appreciate donations to find a cure and fight Myotonic Muscular Dystorphy .
