Jerry C. O'Keefe Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Thursday, May 29, 2025.

Beloved husband of 64 years to Helen O'Keefe (nee Reilly); dearest father of Mike (Donna) O'Keefe, Brian (Angela) O'Keefe, and Caryn (Luke) Brassel; loving grandfather of Kelly, Kristen, Alison (Alex), Adam, Caroline, Braeden, and Emmalyn; great grandfather of Cecilia and Juliet; son of the late Daniel O'Keefe & Celeste (Frank) Gambino; brother of Daniel O'Keefe (the late Millie), the late Robert (Betty) O'Keefe, the late Mary (Virgil) Walls, the late Joan O'Keefe, and the late Sharon O'Keefe ; our dear godfather, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Jerry served with the United States Marine Corps. After his service to his country, he continued his dedicated service with the Kirkwood Police Department for 35 years where he retired as a detective lieutenant. He was also a dedicated PSR teacher for 15 years. He also helped young couples navigate from engagement to marriage as a lead with Helen in the marriage preparation courses with the Catholic Church for 20 years. In his spare time, Jerry had a hobby of woodworking making many cherished items for family.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, June 13, 9:30 AM until time of Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM at Holy Spirit Church, 3130 Parkwood Ln (Maryland Heights). A private inurnment will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital .
