Joann Apperson
July 5, 1939 – February 26, 2025

Joann Apperson passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, with her loving family by her side. Born on July 5, 1939, in St. Louis, Missouri, Joann was the cherished daughter of Jordan and Dorthy "Mickey" Apperson (née Kincannon).

Joann had a kind and gentle spirit, which was reflected in her deep love for animals. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—crocheting and listening to Country Western and Mexican music.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jordan and Mickey, and her brother-in-law, Walter Mutert. She is survived by her devoted sister, Sandra Mutert (Apperson); her nephews, Michael Mutert (wife Tracy) and Christopher Mutert; and her niece, Michelle Dicks (Mutert) (husband Grahame).

Joann's family will honor her memory with a private service. They take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and will forever remain in their hearts.
