Joanne E. Dinges, 84, of Fairmont City, IL passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026. She was born January 10, 1942 in Chicago, IL to Elaine (Eichelberg) and John Dinges.

She was preceded in death by her significant other, Billy Mezo (November 20, 2016). Also preceding her in death were her parents.

She is survived by her sisters, Jean Hulsey and her husband Ernest Hulsey of Huntsville, AL; Betty Grabenhorst and her husband Mark Grabenhorst of Warrenton, Mo; her children, Brenda Cornelius of Collinsville, Il and John McCollom of Bridgeton, MO; and her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

We will gather to honor and celebrate Joanne on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Fairmont City Community Center located at 4001 Cookson Rd, Fairmont City, IL 62201. Please join us to celebrate a life well lived and bring a story or memory to share.
