Obituary

John "Terry" Gersman passed away Thursday, May 8th 2025.

Beloved husband of Janet Gersman ; dearest father of Lisa Gersman and Tashia Gersman ; loving Gampaw to his dog, Louie ; son of the late Adrian and Alice Gersman ; brother of the late James (survived by Lois) Gersman and the late Ann (Frank) Marsala ; brother-in-law of Kathy Waddington and Karen Stephens (Greg) ; our dear uncle, great uncle, great great uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Terry never went anywhere without running into someone he knew. He was a well liked, kind and funny guy.
Terry enjoyed barbecuing, and listening to the ball game while enjoying a few too many Bud Lights. Terry worked at Anheuser Busch Brewery for 35 years and he really loved the product that he helped make. Terry was a proud Veteran as he served in Vietnam with the United States Army. (Thank you for your service, Dad.)

Over the years, Terry has had several hotrod cars. He enjoyed taking his family to car shows with other family members and his car buddies. In his last week of life, Terry was able to spend quality time at home laughing and reminiscing with his girls. He got to spend time with lots of family and friends either by visits or phone calls. He loved being able to get out in the garage a few times with family and friends. Thank you all for showing him the love in his last days.

Thank you to all the Doctors, Nurses, Therapists, and anyone else who has helped care for Dad. We appreciate all you have done for him.
