Shine, John Glennon passed on Monday May 23rd, 2022. Born and raised in St. Louis July 26th 1942. Beloved husband for 60 years of Suzanne Carol Shine (nee Rudroff), of O'Fallon, Mo.; loving father of Kerri Shine, Amy (Dennis) Hennessy and Mary (Randy) Robert; dear grandfather of Heather Blankenship, Holly Patrick, Nicholas Daleo, Brittany Payne, Kalen Riley, Mia Robert, and Ava Robert; great-grandfather of Elliott, Brock, Vivian, Declan, and Suzanne; Brother of William Shine III. Preceded in death by parents, William E. Shine Jr. and Alice C. Shine (nee Wood) and sister, Bridget Bauman and brother, Tim Shine. Our dear cousin and friend to many.

John worked 45 years in the Insurance Premium Finance industry, first with UPAC and then IPFS and had a very successful career retiring in 2021.  Although his family and friends were his priorities he always made you feel welcome in his home. John attended Central Mo State and St. Louis University. He was loved by many and his hobbies included golf, good cuisine and the arts.

Memorial visitation Friday, June 17th 9:00 AM until time of Mass 10:00 AM at St Joseph's Catholic Church, 106 N Meramec, St. Louis, MO.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
