John T. Weston – 'Jack', 'Dad', 'Papa', 'The Old Timer'

Death: Sunday August 22, 2021. Rolla, MO.

76 years young

Survived by his Sisters Audrey 'Joyce' Johnson and Karen Pierce. Children, Mike Weston and Ann Marie Nelson-Weston and Son-in-law Gerhard 'Gert' Bandowski. Grandchildren Sueanna Nelson, Hanna Nelson, Marcus Nelson III and bonus grandchildren Leah Gargus and Dale Fox. Along with several nieces, nephews, and 'honorary family'.

Preceded in by death his mother and father, Audrey Groves and Clyde Arlando Weston. His brother Arlando 'Bob' Weston III, Sister Carol Taylor. His beloved wife Marilyn Sue Weston (Walters).

Born January 10, 1945 of East St. Louis, IL. Married Marilyn Sue, April 7 th , 1966. Fathered two children Mike and Marie. Proudly served in the US military as a Marine. Worked and retired as electrician from Chrysler Plant in Fenton, MO.

John enjoyed many things throughout his life. Riding his Harley and the trike, traveling and vacationing with his family. Master of the chess board, he played for most of his life; countless of hours with his father-in-law and colleagues of Chrysler. Huge Cardinals Baseball fan, he always had the game on. Passionate about politics and a Patriotic Veteran. John loved of TV, the news, crime tv, and dramas. Always working his crosswords and full of endless trivia knowledge. Born Catholic, frequently prayed with his rosary. John was quite the banterer, always teasing and cracking jokes. Undoubtingly, John's favorite thing in life was his family and his favorite title was Grandpa.

Memorial Services will be held at Collier Funeral Home (3400 N Lindbergh Blvd, St. Ann, MO 63074) on Friday, August 27 th , 2021. The viewing 11am – 1pm, services at 1pm, burial will take place immediately at Friedens Cemetery and Mausoleum (8941 N. Broadway, St. Louis, MO 63137).
