Obituary

Breneisen, Judy R. (nee Kramer) Monday, February 6, 2023. Beloved daughter of the late Paul and Evelyn Kramer; dear mother of Robert (Angela) Breneisen, Michael (Jayne) Breneisen and Dina (Duane) Grieshaber; dear grandmother of Corey McDonnell, Cody Breneisen, Christian Breneisen, Caine Breneisen, Aubrey Breneisen, Andrew Breneisen, Rebecca Grieshaber, Zackary Grieshaber, Anthony Grieshaber; dear sister of the late Yale (survived by Mary) Kramer.

Judy was extremely knowledge in municipal government. She spent over 40 years in various positions such as police dispatcher, court clerk, and public works department. Judy was known as "Chief Black Cloud", "Little Pit Bull", and "Guido". She earned these nicknames because she was assertive, knowledgeable, and often on duty when very serious crimes occurred. Judy was always able to keep a level head and maintain the control she needed to effectively do her job. Judy trained numerous others to be excellent in these fields, as well. Judy earned many accolades for her work in law enforcement.

Judy became interested in law enforcement while her father, Paul Kramer, was a patrolman for the Metropolitan Police Department. It was after her father's untimely death while in the line of duty that Judy knew she would follow in his footsteps and pursue this noble field. Judy gained numerous friends, whom she considered family, with each passing year.

However, her greatest joy was her grandchildren Becca, Zack, and Tony. Judy attended many birthday parties, sporting events, and Sunday dinners with them. She was always one of their biggest cheerleaders and made it known to all how important they were to her.
