Justine Marie Mottert, 93, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Saturday Aug. 22 2026 at DePaul Hospital with her family by her side.

Justine was born on March 30th 1933 in Perryville, Mo. to Floyd and Marie Guyot.

Justine loved her family, friends and being involved with Church.

Justine married the late Leonard Joseph Mottert on June 18th 1955.

The two were each other’s lifelong companions and friends. They were blessed with 5 children: Eva, Ken, Mike, Mark and Angie.

Justine was a devoted stay-at-home mother and skilled cake decorator. Throughout her life, she also worked for Weight Watchers, served as a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, and volunteered with the Red Cross and Mark Twain Nursing Home. She was a dedicated member and past President of the St. Anne Sodality at All Souls Catholic Church, where she found great joy in serving alongside fellow members. She especially enjoyed participating in bake sales, yard sales, and any activity that supported the Sodality and the church community she loved.

Justine is survived by her children, daughter Eva Marie Curry and son-in-law Willam E Curry, her son Kenneth Mottert and daughter-in-law Lisa Marie Mottert, her son Michael Mottert and daughter-in-law Diane Mottert, her son Mark Mottert and daughter-in-law Melody Mottert, daughter Angela Bluhm.

Justine leaves behind grandchildren Donnie and Amber Coats, Shannon and Anthony Brown, Billy Curry, Tina, Jess Mottert, Kassie Mottert, Amanda Lohagen, Samantha and Mark Sprung, Tina and Ryan Hite and Theresa and Jesse Powers

Justine leave behind great grandchildren Annabelle, Emily, Makenzee, Gracee, Matthew, Gavin, Leigha, Connor, Christian, Seth, Gabriel, Stella, Zaleena, Zaylah, Mia, Charity, Lexie and James.

Preceded in death by her sister Dot Capler and brother Merle Guyot.

Justine also leaves behind sister-in-laws Judith Mottert and Ann Chott along with cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and lots of friends.

Visitation Tuesday, August 25, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd (St. Ann). Funeral Mass Wednesday, August 26, 10:00 AM at All Souls Church, 9550 Tennyson Ave (Overland). Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
