Karen Lee Carline (née Pittman), 78, passed away on January 13, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Karen was the beloved daughter of Charles and Francis (Murphy) Pittman.
Karen was the beloved wife of the late David Carline and the loving mother of Jeff Carline, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Scott (Paula), Carline, her daughter Krista (Justin) Lucy, her grandchildren Tommy (Emily) Carline, Bailey Carline Luyster (Bailey), Katie Carline, and Kira Lucy, and her great‑grandson Ronan Carline. She was also a beloved sister, a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews, and a loyal and loving friend to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her family and relationships were her greatest joy, and she cherished each of them deeply.
Throughout her life, Karen was known for her gentle spirit, her resilience through life's challenges, and the deep care she extended to family and friends. She carried herself with quiet grace, offering comfort, generosity, and kindness to all who crossed her path.
Funeral Arrangements:
A visitation will be held on January 19 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Colliers Funeral Home, 3400 North Lindbergh Boulevard, St. Ann, MO 63074. A funeral service honoring Karen's life will follow at 12:00 PM at the same location. She will be laid to rest at Fee Fee Cemetery, 11210 Old Saint Charles Rd, Bridgeton, MO 63044.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Children's Miracle Network of Greater St. Louis at www.cmn-stl.org.
Her presence will be profoundly missed, but her legacy lives on in the love she shared, the kindness she showed, and the memories treasured by all who were blessed to know her.
