Kathleen "Kathy" M. Duncan Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Sunday, December 7, 2025.

Our  kind, loving, brilliant, funny and beautiful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Kathleen (Kathy), left us too soon. She was the center of our family and our world will never be the same. Up until her last days, she always made sure to compliment strangers and loved ones alike for their own kindness towards her. Let us honor her memory by carrying that habit forward.

Preceded in death by her mother Kathryn Evans, her father Harry Evans Jr, and her beloved brother Harry "Bud" Evans III, she leaves behind her three daughters and sons in law, Julie (Don) Mestemacher, Liz Duncan (Jeff Ward), Amy (Nathan) Ellebrecht, her beloved grandsons, Nathan Jr, Owen and Joseph Ellebrecht, and her younger brothers, Jim (Carolyn) Evans, Father Robert Evans, and Chris (Christine) Evans. All of us as well as the nieces and nephews she adored and so many others will miss her terribly. Special thanks to the team at de Greeff Hospice House for shepherding our mom and our family through her final weeks. There are angels among us and some of them are hospice workers.

As we mourn her passing, let us remember and live the words of Saint Francis of Assisi, "Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love."

Visitation Friday, December 12, 12:00 PM until time of Funeral Mass 1:00 PM at Chapel of the Risen Christ, 7441 MacKenzie Rd (St. Louis). Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
