Kathleen M. Niemczyk (née Junger), 2/27/54-4/27/23.

Daughter of the late Clarence and Anna Mae Junger (née Tebeau). Loving mother of Michael Niemczyk. Dearest fiancé of Don Young. Beloved sister of Steven Junger, Susan Schnurbusch, Marianne Junger and Philip Junger. Special "grandma" to Nicholas, Adie, Ali, Layne and Myles.

Kathleen was a truly wonderful person. Always willing to lend a helping hand. She had a great sense of humor and a smart wit. She loved to make people laugh and was known to pull a prank or two. Kathleen enjoyed mushroom hunting, watching true crime stories, listening to her police scanner and exploring haunted houses. She also had a slight crush on Bruce Springsteen.

Kathleen was a tandem operator at Western Union from Sept '73 until Jan '91. She then transitioned to technician at AT&T, retiring in Jan '12.

Kathleen will be greatly missed by her many friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial visitation Wednesday, May 10, 5:00 until time of service 7:00 PM at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd (St. Ann).
