Beloved husband of 56 years to Lavern Barteau (nee McMenamy); loving father of Ken Barteau, Brian (Becky) Barteau, and Kim (Dan) Roberts; dearest grandfather of Ken, Brenden (Taylor), Tim (Lauren), Brittany (Jordan), Nicole, and Jenna; great grandfather of Beckham, Josephine, Bennett, and Jaxon; son of the late Raymond and Notie Barteau; brother of Sharon Hoffschwelle, Artie Deters, Elsie (Tom) Goeke, the late Ray Barteau, the late Jackie Kelpe, the late Frank Barteau, the late Phil Barteau, and the late Louise Livell; our dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Kenneth enjoyed his career as a tractor mechanic with Brinker Tractor Sales for 35 years. After retiring he then spent a few years with the Hazelwood School District.
