Obituary

Kenneth John Hudzinski passed away in St. Charles, Missouri on October 26, 2022. He was born to John and Violet (nee Warszwik) Hudzinski on June 7, 1936 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Rita Hudzinski, his brothers; Raymond (late wife Lillian) and Franklin, sons Steve Hudzinski and wife Sharon, and Dan Hudzinski and wife Jayme, and step children Michelle Passmore and husband Jeff, and Gary Belk and wife Janine, including multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces and their families. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Eugene, Melvin, Jerome, Leroy and Warren "Hud", and sisters Dorothy Jalowiec, Patricia Brown and Jacqueline Zimny. Ken proudly served in the US Marines for 22 years until his honorable discharge in 1980 retiring as Master Sargent. His military service included 3 combat tours in Vietnam. Ken also retired from McDonnell-Douglas Corporation in 1996 after working as an Aviation Specialist. Ken was an active member of the VFW Post 3944 and a member of the Lambert Field Rod and Gun Club serving as Vice President. Ken was very patriotic with a strong belief in God and the United States of America.

Ken enjoyed spending time with family, country music, dancing with Rita, boating, and numerous outdoor games and activities as he always enjoyed holidays and fun family events including the yearly Dill family reunion in Branson, Missouri and the Hudzinki Family reunion in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be held on November 1, 2022 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Collier's Funeral Home, St. Ann, Mo. Mass services will be at 11 am on November 2, 2022 at Holy Spirt Church in Maryland Heights, MO. Family and friends can meet at Collier's Funeral Home at 9:30 am on Wednesday before the Mass for the last viewing and then proceed to the church for Mass. After Mass, family and close friends will proceed to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for burial. Collier's Funeral Home in St. Ann, MO is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Semper Fi and America's Fund .
