Kevin Lynn
Throgmorton
Jun 14, 1964 — Feb 1, 2022
Kevin Lynn Throgmorton passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at his home in Bel Ridge, MO and gained his angel wings at the age of 57 on February 1st, 2022.
Kevin was born on June 14th, 1964 to the parents Everett "Ray" and Lucy Throgmorton and grew up in the same home that he later purchased for his own family. Kevin graduated from North County Technical High School in 1982 and specialized in welding. He joined the Navy after high school and returned from the Philippines and went on to have three children, Tiffany (Nick), Sean, and Michael with his first wife. Kevin remarried in 2007 to Kate and that union blessed him with two additional children, Christopher, Jordan and seven beautiful granddaughters. Kate and Kevin loved time at home with their beloved pets, being a fan to Christopher's guitar playing, outings out to do karaoke and the St. Louis Blues. Kevin's soon to come 8th granddaughter will share his middle name.
Kevin never met a stranger. He would talk to anyone about any and everything. It was in his nature to lend a helping hand to everyone. He was especially gifted mechanic and helped fix more of his friends and family members cars than we can count. He was like his dad in that way, he could just about fix and figure out anything mechanical whether on a car or in a house. His handywork blessed many.
We will always remember his kind, loving, gentle soul. He loved his family and role he played- husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. We pray for his wife Kate, his five kids, his mother, his seven granddaughters, his five siblings, and a whole bunch of nieces and nephews and friends as we miss his presence on earth. Until we meet again.
Kevin was predeceased by his father Everett "Ray" Throgmorton. He is survived by his mother Lucy Throgmorton and his 5 siblings, David, Larry, Barbara, Patricia, and Cheryl.
