Laverne Marie Meives joined her beloved husband, Francis E. Meives in heaven March 1, 2022. She was born on March 10, 1929 and dies nine days before her 93rd birthday. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Cyndie Meives of Columbia, Missouri and Michael and Janie Meives of West Palm Beach, Florida, 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, one brother, Don Schweppe and his wife CJ, sisters-in-law Frances Schweppe and JoAnn Schweppe, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Joe Schweppe and Jim Schweppe.

A funeral mass for Laverne will be held on Saturday, June 18, 10:30 AM at Holy Spirit Church, 3130 Parkwood Ln, Maryland Heights, MO.

A lunch will follow at noon at All Occasions Dining Hall, 111 Compass Point Dr, St. Charles, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Laverne's name to the Loggerhead Turtle Marine Life Center , 14200 US-1, N. Juno Beach, FL 33408.
