Lester G. Thrasher

09/24/1957 – 8/31/2021

Loving husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Becky, son Austin. Parents Joyce and Glen (Hershel) Thrasher, Sisters Brenda and Tina Thrasher, many nieces and nephews.

Lester loved spending time with his family. From the age of 15 he was a mechanic for his father until the station closed in the late 90's. "Hey, Les you got a minute?" was a popular statement from family and friends who needed help with car repairs. In his later years he revived his love for Top Fuel Drag Racing and went with his son every year. He loved the water, knee boarding (in his younger days), boating, fishing especially fly fishing and floating on the Current River. His favorite place in the world was Bull Shoals Lake such a peaceful, beautiful place that our family spent many happy hours.

Funeral service Thursday, September 9, 10:00 AM at COLLIER'S Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd. (St. Ann). Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 4:00-8:00 PM.
