Linda Kathleen (Post) Strait of Bridgeton, MO, born to Joseph and Lorraine Post on June 16th, 1949, entered into heaven on January 5, 2025 at the age of 75.

Linda was a loving wife to James Strait, her husband of 51 years, devoted mother to Lisa (Brian) and Cori (Jason), and a caring grandmother to Grace, Maggie, Will, and Kay, Allison (Caleb), Andrew, and great-grandmother to Olive. She grew up in St. John, MO with her sister Sharon and brother Mike.

For over 40 years, Linda worked as an Administrative assistant at Hussmann Refrigeration and remained an active e part of the community even after her retirement. Her coworkers were lucky to know her as a kind, genuine friend and leader. Her hobbies included crafting, gardening, decorating and crocheting blankets for her friends and family.

Linda also made friends for life, meeting weekly for lunch with her childhood friends. She was loved by all that knew her and made friends everywhere she went; she was known for her generosity, her care for others, and her sense of humor. Her family is so grateful to have enjoyed a last Christmas with her, the time of year she loved most. Linda's unique spirit will be missed by the many people lucky enough to have known her, briefly or all their lives.

Visitation for Linda will be from 2:00 - 4:00pm on Friday, January 10, at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 Lindbergh Blvd. (St.Ann).
