Lois Jean Smith nee Eaton age 80 of Bridgeton Mo.

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and Sister-n-law passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Friday April 10, 2026.

Lois was born in Berea Ohio on October 28th 1945 to Late Albert Eaton and Marjorie Eaton, two siblings Alberta McKay and late John Eaton.

She is survived by her sister Alberta McKay, her beloved husband of 57 years Allen Thomas Smith, son William Howard Smith wife Kaoru, Daughter Barbara Jean Smith and Dale Bizzle; Grandchildren Ashley Rinka Smith, Lauren Momoka Smith, Justin Shion Smith, Dalton (Whitney Ekstam) Corzine, Brandon Corzine, fiance Anayeli Espinoza; Great Grandchildren Luke Corzine and two still in the oven. Sister and Brother in-laws Donna Marie husband Art Pierre, Sharon and husband Alton Mercer and many nieces and nephews and grand puppies Genie, Gizzy, Dude, Taz.

Lois was a homemaker, avid gardener. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish. She enjoyed sharing her husband passion of birdwatching, and loved her scratch offs. She lived well, laughed often and loved so deeply. She enjoyed outings with family and friends; with her great Strength Grace and Determination and her Courageous battle of Cancer. She didn't let the illness define her, rather it was her love and kindness and her indomitable Spirit that will be remembered her memory will forever live on in our hearts.

Visitation Thursday, April 16th, 4:00 PM until time of Funeral Service 7:00 PM at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd (St. Ann). Cremation to follow with burial at Mount Lebanon Cemetery at a later date.
