Margaret (Dora) Horton passed away peacefully on September 17th 2022 at the age of 80.

Margaret "Marge" Horton was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Catherine and Ferdinand Dora on November 30 1941. She was proceeded in death by her husband's Bernard Schlomann and Roger Horton, Mother and Father along with her brother Gene Dora and sister Caroline Fahland. Marge grew up in South St. Louis where she attended St. Agatha Catholic School and met her lifelong friend Patricia "Pat" (Chuck) Gang. Marge was a mother of 5 children, Carrie (John) Bockerstett, Tina (Mike) Re', Jeff (Connie) Horton, Robin Plohr (Rick Syberg), and Jason Horton, and a mother to Melvin, Ken, and Mike Yeager. Marge had a love for children, as a babysitter in her younger years, to becoming a volunteer at St. Johns Mercy hospital where she worked in the nursery. Later her and Roger were foster parents for Catholic charities to 32 children. Her grandchildren were the love of her life Sean (Alli) Bockerstett, Caitlin Bockerstett, Robert (Kristen Dulle) Plohr, Shayne Horton, Tori Re', and Sam Re' but she especially LOVED her great grandson, Luke Bockerstett.

Marge loved to travel with her friends, loved her fur babies and her St. Louis Cardinals. She was a friend to many and will truly be missed. We all LOVE you Mom!!!! In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Humane Society of Missouri , Cardinal Glennon Costas Center , or Catholic Charities .

Visitation Wednesday, September 21, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd (St. Ann). Funeral Mass Friday, September 23, 10:00 AM at Holy Spirit Church, 3130 Parkwood Ln (Maryland Heights).
