Reisenleiter, Mary Maxine (nee Gray) died peacefully on July 4, 2022 at the age of 98. Maxine was born in Minter, Texas on August 20, 1923. Her family moved to St Louis shortly after, and until her move to Creve Coeur Assisted Living in 2018, Maxine was one of the longest living residents of Brentwood MO. Maxine, as well as her son and daughter graduated from Brentwood High School in 1941.
During World War II, Maxine contributed time as a Nurses Aid. After the war, she worked as an operator at the phone company, as a sales person for Famous Barr, and as a model for Glamour Magazine. Maxine went on to become Manager at Brentwood Lanes for over 15 years, and then Manager for Tropicana Lanes, followed by a successful number of years in the real estate industry. After her husband died in 1998, Maxine gave back by helping others as a Hospice Volunteer for 14 years, and as a volunteer with Wings of Hope, restoring a DC-3 (C-47) that saw service on D-Day over Normandy, France.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 52 years, H Lee Reisenleiter. In honor of his service in WW II as a paratrooper, Maxine, at the age of 76, successfully completed 7 tandem skydives. She was fearless, age was only a number to her.
Maxine is survived by her son Harry L Reisenleiter (D Maxine Reisenleiter, nee Watts), by her grandson J Michael Reisenleiter (Erika Reisenleiter, nee Kaszczyszyn) and by her daughter Melissa M Reisenleiter (Mark G Rice).

Visitation Tuesday, July 19, 10:00 AM until time of service 12:00 Noon at COLLIER'S Funeral Home, 3400 North Lindbergh Blvd. (St. Ann). Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
