Van Dillen, Michael Dennis "Mike" passed away at the age of 68 on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. He was anointed with the last rites.

He was born on January 24, 1954 at St. Mary's Hospital in Clayton, Missouri. Mike attended St. Mary's grade school. He then attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School his freshman and sophomore years before completing his Junior and Senior years and graduating from Pattonville High School.

Mike traveled out west for many years with his father and occasionally with his brother Jim and his family. Mike would entertain the family on these trips with his funny and awesome impressions and skits. Mike's hobbies were putting together model airplanes and cars. He has a huge collection. His other hobby was assembling train tracks with many trains and setting up towns with train stations, houses, people, and vehicles of all kinds. These hobbies kept Mike busy for many years.

Mike worked for 15 years for the city of St. Ann. He was respected for being a hard worker. Mike is survived by his sister Diane Potthoff (nee Van Dillen), and his brothers James and Mark. Mike joins his mother, Marian; his father, James; and his sister, Ruth Biri (nee Van Dillen) in paradise in heaven.

Although Mike never married he had many family and friends that loved him. Rest in peace Mike. You were a good guy. We love you.

Visitation Friday, January 27, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd (St. Ann). Funeral mass Saturday, January 28, 10:00 AM at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 6603 Christopher Dr. (Oakville). Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery (Bridgeton).
