Nancy Carol Farr (nee Newby) passed away December 19, 2023, just six days shy of her eighty-seventh birthday. She is survived by her husband Jim, her daughter Sheri, son Tony, her grandchildren Trent (Amy) and Tabi, and her great-grandchildren Meyer and Grant. Nancy survived her brother Ron, her sister Jane and her daughter Kim.

Nancy was born in Mattoon, Ill on December 25, 1936, and married Jim on November 3, 1957. After getting married and Nancy completing her nursing degree they moved to St. Louis where they raised their three children. Nancy spent her most of her career working as a nurse at Deaconess Hospital. This year, Nancy and Jim recently celebrated their sixty-six years of marriage.

Nancy enjoyed road trips, wintering in the Florida Keys and having friends over for dinner. The last couple of years Nancy and Jim moved into senior living community and were starting a new phase of life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.

Memorial visitation Wednesday, January 3, 1:00 - 3:00 PM at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd (St. Ann). A private memorial service for the family will follow.
